Once hailed as a world-famous opera and Lied singer from Germany, Thomas Quasthoff ended his unprecedented career in 2012 after winning three Grammys and seven ECHOs. Though he didn't bid farewell to the stage, uncovering new-found talents as a reciter, cabaret artist, presenter and even an actor. Friends brought him back to jazz, a genre he had loved since his early youth. The microphone became his instrument.
