CHRISTOPH FILLER & JAN PETRYKA in a new production at the Wiener Kammeroper

As Doristo, Christoph Filler celebrates his debut at Theater an der Wien. Jan Petryka returns to the Fleischmarkt stage as Endimione, he most recently performed at the Kammeroper in December 2021 in Der Fall Strauss. Both have a strong focus on Viennese classical repertoire and regularly perform with original sound ensembles such as the Wiener Akademie and Concentus Musicus. Christoph Filler also had great success last August at the Gstaad Festival with his interpretation as Papageno under the baton of Christophe Rousset.

Vicente Martín y Solers' L'arbore di Diana was commissioned by Joseph II in 1786. The opera by the Spanish composer is a musical comedy about young lovers on the threshold of adulthood.
When writing the libretto for this piece, Lorenzo Da Ponte was simultaneously working on Mozart's Don Giovanni.

The Bach Consort Wien has been a regular guest at the Theater an der Wien for many years, this time under the direction of its musical director Rubén Dubrovsky.
