As part of the Ring cycle staged by Calixto Bieito and conducted by Pablo Heras-Casado at the Paris Opera, Ida Aldrian makes her house debut as Siegrune in the second part of the tetralogy, Die Walküre. The mezzo-soprano, who is a member of the Hamburg State Opera ensemble, will perform a role that she already sang last season under the baton of Kent Nagano in Prague, Amsterdam, Cologne, Dresden and Lucerne, and which she will also perform in Hamburg during the coming season.
Not to be missed! Die Walküre will be recorded by France Musique and broadcast on 24 January 2026 at 8 p.m. on Judith Chaine's programme ‘Samedi à l'Opéra’. It will then be available to stream on the France Musique website and on the Radio France app.
