PATRICIA NOLZ in Spring 2026: International Debuts and a Homecoming in Vienna

The young Austrian mezzo-soprano begins spring 2026 with a stand-out schedule. At its core is lied and concert performance - two areas in which she is increasingly making a name for herself on the international stage.

Most recently, Nolz attracted significant attention alongside fellow Machreich artist Nikola Hillebrand under the baton of Christian Thielemann in one of her most defining operatic roles to date. Now, the focus shifts to a series of major debuts in the United Kingdom: on 8 April, she will appear for the first time at London’s renowned Wigmore Hall, one of the world’s most important centres for lied. Just a few days later, on 11 April, she will make her debut at the Leeds Song Festival.

Nolz also continues her successful concert work in Vienna. On 19 April, she will perform together with the Wiener Kammerorchester under the baton of Jan Willem de Vriend at the Wiener Konzerthaus. The programme features arias by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Joseph Haydn - a repertoire that highlights her stylistic versatility. The concert also marks a return to a venue where she last impressed audiences in February 2025 with a recital met with great acclaim. At the time, she was hailed as an “excellent musical storyteller” capable of creating intense atmospheres through expressive nuance and refined facial expression (Die Presse).

Another highlight awaits Vienna audiences on 29 May: together with the renowned pianist Malcolm Martineau, Nolz will present a song recital at the Wiener Musikverein.

With this multifaceted sequence of debuts and return engagements, Patricia Nolz once again underscores her artistic versatility - both on the opera and concert stage as well as in the more intimate setting of lied.
