The AMATIS TRIO reunited!

The Amatis Trio is celebrating its reunion with its founding pianist Mengjie Han, who is returning to his colleagues after a sabbatical of almost a year. Here is the announcement in the trio's words:

“It is with enormous excitement that we, the Amatis Trio, may announce the reunion with our founding member, Dutch pianist Mengjie Han. In 2014, the three of us met in Amsterdam and set in motion the beginning of a chamber music career that took us to 43 countries across five different continents, two commercial CDs, the BBC New Generation Artists scheme, the ECHO Rising Stars nomination as well as performances in many of the world’s most prestigious concert halls and music festivals. Together we learnt our craft, travelled the world, explored the exceptional piano trio repertoire and developed an enduring musical bond with each other. In 2021, Mengjie took a sabbatical for personal reasons, but we always hoped that the opportunity to reform would present itself one day. So now the time has come, and we are exceedingly happy to welcome Mengjie back to our trio to celebrate the eight years we shared and we are looking forward to many new exciting projects, concerts and collaborations in the future!”

Therefor, we wish the Amatis all the best and look forward to many future highlights with this extraordinary piano trio!
