THOMAS QUASTHOFF with Christmas jazz concerts in Nürnberg and Berlin

Thomas Quasthoff, one of the most extraordinary voices in the German music scene, has been demonstrating for years that his artistry extends far beyond the world of classical music. With his Christmas jazz concerts, he is now returning to one of his great passions: laid-back, swinging jazz that leaves room for humour, cheerfulness and emotional depth.

On 6 and 7 December 2025, Quasthoff will be performing in Nürnberg, where he presents a mixture of Christmas classics, finely arranged jazz standards and personal favourites, together with Wolfgang Meyer (guitar) and Shawn Grocott (trombone). Just a few days later, from 18 to 21 December, he will move into the legendary A-Trane in Berlin – a club known for its intimate atmosphere and proximity to the audience. It is here that Quasthoff's unmistakable voice unfolds its particular effect: immediate, touching and full of charm. These Christmas jazz concerts at the A-Trane, which have now become a tradition, promise joy, an intensive sound experience and atmospheric evenings that resonate long after the evening is over.
