ADRIAN ERÖD as Gabriel Eisenstein at the Tokyo Spring Festival

A welcome guest at Japan's largest classical music festival, Adrian Eröd can be heard this year as Eisenstein in the operetta classic Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss. Under the direction of Jonathan Nott and accompanied by the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, he will sing the role, which he also sang at the Vienna State Opera in early January 2023, in Tokyo's most prominent concert hall, the Tōkyō Bunka Kaikan in two concert performances.

Every year, the 40-day Spring Festival in Tokyo presents a wide range of concerts, including opera, orchestral and chamber music concerts as well as recitals by top artists from home and abroad, and will be held at a total of five different venues this year.
