ADRIAN ERÖD in Strauss‘ "Capriccio" at the Vienna State Opera

After Zemlinsky’s Lyric Symphony with the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden under the baton of Christian Thielemann, performed in Dresden, Budapest and at Vienna’s Musikverein, Adrian Eröd returns to his home base, the Vienna State Opera, taking on the role of the Count in Richard Strauss’ Capriccio under the baton of music director Philippe Jordan. Next season, Adrian Eröd will make his role debut as Sulpice in Donizetti’s La Fille du Régiment at the Vienna State Opera. In addition, he appears as Beckmesser in Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg both at the Tokyo Spring Festival and at the Semper Opera in Dresden – the latter also under Christian Thielemann’s baton.
