CAROLINA LIPPO am Teatro Regio in Turin

This May, Italian soprano Carolina Lippo returns to Turin's Teatro Regio as Ernestina in Antonio Salieri's opera buffa La scuola de' gelosi (The School of Jealousy), where she already attracted attention in early 2020 as Carolina in a production of Cimarosa's Il Matrimonio Segreto. As a former member of the Young Singers Ensemble (JET) of Theater an der Wien, she also appeared in this role at the Vienna Kammeroper and will once again be involved in this action-packed comedy of jealousy and intrigue, first performed in Venice in 1778 and staged by British director Jean Renshaw.
