CHRISTIANE KARG with Mahler's 4th in Vienna

After an intense festival summer as an artist-in-focus at the Rheingau Music Festival and a tour with Gustav Mahler’s Fourth Symphony with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, which took her to Grafenegg and other destinations under the baton of Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, Christiane Karg is heard again in Mahler’s Fourth Symphony at the beginning of this season on four successive evenings at Vienna’s Konzerthaus (September 20) and Musikverein (September 21, 22 and 23). Jean Sibelius’ Fourth Symphony in A-minor forms the first half of this programme, in which Daniel Harding conducts the Vienna Philharmonic.
