CHRISTIANE KARG | Wohnzimmer-Konzert #13

As part of their last episode of their highly acclaimed streaming series entitled "Wohnzimmer-Konzerte", the Vienna Symphony invited soprano Christiane Karg to an evening of late romantic sounds on March 12th, under the direction of their chief conductor Andrés Orozco-Estrada. The program included Gustav Mahler's “Adagietto” from his Fifth Symphony in C-sharp minor as well as Richard Strauss' “Four Last Songs” - empathetically and beautifully sung by the internationally sought-after soprano, as can still be heard in the recording below.
