DAVID STEFFENS - Fasolt, Hunding and Fafner at the Stuttgart State Opera

Before making his eagerly awaited house debut as Ochs auf Lerchenau at the Berlin State Opera in April, David Steffens will first dedicate himself to the Wagnerian repertoire in Stuttgart and give his role debut as Hunding in Die Walküre, besides singing also Fasolt in Das Rheingold and Fafner in Siegfried. Hunding in particular marks another significant step towards the Wagnerian repertoire, eventually also leading to his role debut of King Marke in Tristan und Isolde in 2024.
