IDA ALDRIAN at the International Brucknerfest Linz 2024

In Bruckner's anniversary year 2024, Bruckner's Mass in D minor, the first of his works in which the later symphonist's signature is clearly recognisable, will once again be performed at the place of its premiere. With the Orfeo Barockorchester under its founder Michi Gaigg, a top-class ensemble from Upper Austria will also be paying tribute to their great compatriot on his 200th birthday.

The Austrian mezzo-soprano Ida Aldrian, who is a member of the ensemble at the Hamburg State Opera, where she will also be appearing in Boris Godunov, Hansel and Gretel and Manon during the current season, completes the quartet of soloists alongside the choir "Hard Chor" from Linz and the male choir of the St. Florian Boys' Choir.

Ida Aldrian will also appear as a concert soloist this season with the Bach Collegium Zürich in Bach's St Matthew Passion and will take on the alto part in Gustav Mahler's Resurrection Symphony with the Osnabrück Symphony Orchestra.
