KATRIN WUNDSAM performs Fricka, Erste Norn and Waltraute at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden

After a brief intermezzo in the family opera "Wo die wilden Kerle wohnen" at the MusikTheater an der Wien, Katrin Wundsam is continuing her career in Wagner and will be making her role debut at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden in several roles in Uwe Eric Laufenberg's production in the coming weeks: as Fricka in Das Rheingold and Die Walküre and as Erste Norn and Waltraute in Die Götterdämmerung.

The first of three cycles under the direction of Michael Güttler will take place from the end of January and will then be resumed around Easter and as part of the International May Festival 2024.

Finally, in June, Katrin Wundsam will make another major Wagner role debut with Venus in Wagner's Tannhäuser.
