MATTHIAS REXROTH gives his debut at the BBC Proms

Following concert appearances in Vienna, Kuala Lumpur, Kuopio, Birmingham and Monte-Carlo, German countertenor Matthias Rexroth can now be heard at the BBC Proms for the first time in his signature role – the swan in Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. He will be accompanied by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and, among others, the CBSO Chorus conducted by Kazuki Yamada. The concert, which opens with Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms, will also be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and can be listened to here until September 27th.
