MICHAEL SCHADE sings a special Winterreise in Linz

At the upcoming lied recital on 15 December at the Brucknerhaus Linz (Middle Hall), Michael Schade, Christoph Hammer (fortepiano) and André Ferreira (Biedermann guitar) will combine Schubert's perhaps best-known song cycle Die Winterreise with works by Johann Amon and Johann Kaspar Mertz. These function as a kind of overture and interlude, giving the audience the opportunity to arrive and get in the mood for the work and to reflect in between.

The colourful accompaniment with fortepiano and Biedermeier guitar gives the moving narrative an exciting, never-before-heard, direct and intimate sound, creating a very special concert experience for the audience.
