NIKOLA HILLEBRAND | Lied recitals in Korea, Germany, U.K. and Austria

Following her debut in Italy with a recital in Genoa together with Julias Drake, Nikola Hillebrand performed at the Tongyeong Festival in Korea with Alexander Fleischer at the piano at the beginning of April. The programme included selected songs by Franz Schubert. Clara Schumann and Richard Strauss.

At the Heidelberger Frühling, she performs Brahms Liebersliederwalzer in an ensemble evening together with Julian Prégardien, Anna Lucia RIchter and Samuel Hasselhorn. Immediately afterwards, she is ivited to the Leeds Lieder Festival for the second time and can be heard in two concerts: the lunchtime concert, including "Der Hirt auf dem Felsen" (clarinet: Oliver Casanovas Nuevo) and a Schubertiade in the evening - a gala concert with an all-Schubert programme. At both concerts she will be accompanied by Joseph Middleton.

At the end of April, Nikola Hillebrand can be heard together with Patricia Nolz and Helmut Deutsch in a duo evening at the Vienna Konzerthaus. The exquisite programme includes songs and duets by Henry Purcell, Johannes Brahms, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Robert Schumann, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Antonín Dvořák, among others. An event surely not to be missed!

The crowning finale of this series is a solo recital at the Schubertiade in Hohenems, once again with Helmut Deutsch as accompanist.
