Art whistling is a highly virtuoso art form, its roots go back to the 19th century. Actually a phenomenon of the upper ten thousand, it experienced its golden era at the time of the "Viennese Schrammeln". Even Crown Prince Rudolf is said to have taken a liking to it. Nikolaus Habjan brings this tradition back to life and presents music from the Baroque, Viennese Classic and Romantic in a new sound.
Music by Antonio Vivaldi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Christoph Willibald Gluck, Franz Schubert and Richard Wagner
