PATRICIA NOLZ | Recital in Vienna and house debut in Copenhagen

After enjoying great success as Rosina in Rossini's most famous opera Il barbiere di Siviglia in her role debut in Nancy in 2022 and in two revival series at the Vienna State Opera, Patricia Nolz is now making her house debut in her signature role at the Royal Danish Opera in Copenhagen.

‘In Patricia Nolz, we have found the ideal cast for Rosina (...) because she is simply ravishing. Every note, every emotion, every gesture a delight, you can't get more out of this role.’ (Bachtrack)

Find out more about the production here.

After Patricia Nolz was offered a special platform last season at the Wiener Konzerthaus as a ‘Great Talent’ with various orchestral concerts and recitals, we are all the more delighted that she will now be performing a solo recital in the Mozart Hall for the first time, with Malcolm Martineau at her side on the piano. The programme includes Robert Schumann's Frauenliebe und -leben as well as selected songs by Richard Strauss and Alexander Zemlinsky.

Patricia Nolz impresses with the truthfulness of her lied interpretations. Her expressive voice conveys the feelings of the young woman portrayed here without pathos and she skilfully exploits the emotional depth of the songs. Her performance is moving and listeners believe every word she says.
