SUMI HWANG als Micaëla in Wiesbaden

After the rising Korean soprano Sumi Hwang introduced herself to the Wiesbaden audience in the role of Donna Anna last season, she now returns to embody Micaëla in George Bizet’s classic Carmen at the beginning of the 2019/2020 season – a role she is familiar with and won accolades for during her time as an ensemble member at the Bonn Theatre. The Wiesbaden State Theatre’s artistic director Uwe Eric Laufenberg directs Bizet’s drama about love, passion and death with Lena Belkina in the title role. GMD Patrick Lange conducts the Hessian State Orchestra Wiesbaden.
