SUMI HWANG as Donna Anna in Bonn

After the internationally rising soprano was already heard as Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni earlier this year at the Hessian State Theatre in Wiesbaden, she gives three further performances of the same role in mid-June at the Theater Bonn, where she was a regular ensemble member until the end of the 2017/2018 season, embodying roles such as Pamina, Fiordiligi, Micaëla, Mimì, Liù and others to critical acclaim.

At the beginning of the upcoming season, Sumi Hwang will also sing the role of Micaëla in a new production of Bizet’s Carmen in Wiesbaden, while collaborations with international orchestras such as the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, the Saarland State Orchestra and the Seoul Philharmonic await her on the concert stage.
