SUMI HWANG sings Strauss and Puccini with the Belgian National Orchestra

As a prelude to Belgium's national holiday on 21 July, Sumi Hwang will give a gala concert with the Belgian National Orchestra under its chief conductor Antony Hermus at the BOZAR in Brussels. In the presence of the Belgian royal pair, the former winner of the prestigious Concours Reine Elisabeth will perform orchestral songs by Richard Strauss (Heimliche Aufforderung, Wiegenlied, Cäcilie) as well as immortal opera hits such as Puccini's "O mio babbino caro" from Gianni Schicchi and "Sì, mi chiamano Mimì" from La Bohème.

The gala concert will be broadcast live and at a later date on several Belgian channels (Musiq3, La Trois, Auvio, Klara, VRT CANVAS, VRT MAX).
