WERNER GÜRA sings Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Bach in March

The sought-after tenor Werner Güra continues his concert activities in March, starting with a performance of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in Munich. Like all concerts presented by MünchenMusik during the 2018/2019 season, this is dedicated to the memory of the conductor Enoch zu Guttenberg, who passed away last June and had been originally scheduled to lead this performance. It will be conducted by Roberto Abbado, with whom Werner Güra already sang the Ninth Symphony last July during the final performance of the Herrenchiemsee Festival, to great acclaim.
