YVONNE NAEF at La Scala Milan

After singing the role of Mrs. Quickly in Verdi’s Falstaff in concert last summer at the Verbier Festival under the baton of Jesús López Cobos, she now repeated the role at Milan’s La Scala, joined by a high-carat Italian cast led by Ambrogio Maestri as Falstaff. This co-production with the Salzburg Festival was conducted by Zubin Mehta; the Italian Damiano Michieletto, equally sought-after on the international opera scene, directed.
