Thomas Quasthoff, lecture
Evgeny Kissin, lecture

Based on Kathrine Kressmann Taylor's novel, "Address Unknown" takes the form of a correspondence between two men, associates and friends: Martin Schulse, German, and Max Eisenstein, American Jew of German origin. Between 1932 and 1934, they exchanged numerous letters in which they spoke of their life, their passion for art, their drama. Address Unknown was published in the American magazine Story in 1938, just one year before the outbreak of the Second World War. Thomas Quasthoff and Evgeny Kissin embody Martin and Max here in reading their intense and poignant discussions.
