After an intense December, in which Adrian Eröd attracted attention not only in Hansel and Gretel at the Vienna State Opera, but also as Danilo in a new production of Lehár's The Merry Widow at the Cologne Opera, the Austrian baritone will now also appear for the first time as the Music Teacher in Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos in Sven Eric Bechtolf's production and under the direction of Michael Boder at the Haus am Ring. During the current season, the Austrian Kammersänger will also be on stage as Faninal in Der Rosenkavalier and in Thomas Adé's adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest - the latter as a revival of the Austrian premiere from 2015, in which he already wowed audiences and press alike as Prospero.
