ADRIAN ERÖD in Eric Zeisl's ‘Requiem Ebraico’ at the Vienna Musikverein

Composed and premiered in 1945, the ‘Requiem Ebraico’ by the Austro-American composer Eric Zeisl is the earliest work in music history to commemorate the Holocaust. Under the direction of Marin Alsop and accompanied by the ORF RSO Vienna, Adrian Eröd performs the baritone part of this haunting work in memory of the ‘countless victims of the Jewish tragedy in Europe’.
